  • Review Of Contractors Documentation And Detailed Design

    • The review will include Foundation design/Condition, Technical documentation of wind turbine and auxiliary equipment, Tower drawings, Installation drawings, Commissioning Plans
    • The review of All E-BOP and C-BOP topics
    • The design review will be carried out in Conformity/ Compliance with the contract signed, good engineering practice & with EPA

  • Factory And Ready For Shipment Inspection

We will carry out factory inspections prior to major shipments of equipment.

  • For the wind turbines:

    • Factory inspections / ready for shipment inspections for the nacelles.
    • Factory inspections / ready for shipment inspections for the blades.
    • Factory inspections / ready for shipment inspections for the towers.

  • For the electrical equipment:

    • 132/33 kV power transformers tests
    • earthling transformers
    • 33/0.69 kV WTG transformers, RMU and auxiliary transformers (some samples only)
    • Equipment tests of the 132 kV Substations
    • switchgear equipment 33 kV
    • 33 kV compensation plant
    • Tests of control & protection and telecommunication systems
    • Cable conductors for 132 and 22 kV lines
    • Power cables 22 kV

 

  • Management And Control

  • During the site supervision, we shall perform the following activities:

    • Keep & manage communication with Client/Contractor,
    • Recommendation for signature of all acceptance documents and invoices by the Contractor
    • Full-time supervision and coordination of all Project activities
    • Review of detailed Project schedule submitted by the Contractor
    • Review of Monthly Progress Reports submitted by the Contractor
    • Organise, manage and prepare all minutes for
    • Kick-off
    • Project Progress
    • Project Coordination Meetings.

  • b) Time Control

    • monitor the time schedule submitted by the Contractor

  • c) Quality Control

    • review and supervise the Contractor’s quality plan
    • suggest additional quality check documents

  • d)Shipment and Transports

    • follow up the shipments
    • check the shipment papers
    • check the adequacy of the equipment storage at the site

 

  • Site Supervision

    • On-Site Construction Supervision
    • Receiving Inspection of Equipment
    • Health and Safety Monitoring
    • Commissioning Supervision
    • Progress Reports/ Reporting

 

  • Facilitation In Approval Of Drawings / Documents And Fats From Power Purchaser

During construction activities approvals are required from the Purchaser (NTDC / CPPA). These include but not limited to the following departments of Purchaser (NTDC / CPPA)

  • Design Department
  • Protection Department
  • Telecommunication Department
  • NPCC
  • Planning Department

The documents prescribed in the EPA including drawings, specifications and calculations will be submitted by Client to CPPA. We wll give necessary advise to the extent of adequacy of the documents to meet Purchaser’s expectations. We will also support the Client in case there is a technical dispute on documents with Purchaser.

  • Coordination With Local Authorities

For the whole construction period we will support the Client in handling all relevant topics to achieve a smooth implementation of the Project with the following local authorities in Pakistan:

  • NTDC
  • CPPA
  • DISCO
  • AEDB
